All of these paintings were created by AI in the new, free Windows feature in the bing search bar.
You can create your own version by going to bing.com/create and entering the search terms you wish.
The artwork is astonishing. 
In my examples:
1. I asked for a Kentucky horse farm with a hay field, black barn and Appalachia Mountains in the background.2. Destin, Florida beach with blue umbrellas.3. A French lavender field.4. A French vineyard and cottage in oil paint Monet style.4. An Irish field with hedges and a waterfall.5. Rolling hills of Kentucky with Appalachia Mountains in background.
Microsoft says these images can be used without any copyright restrictions. However, Microsoft is free to use your creations in future displays and similar images can be created if users use similar search terms. In other words, it's not one of a kind.
I like using my own photos or painting in plein air for all of my creations. I have used other's photos, with their permission, in a few exceptions, including for commissioned paintings for them.
But the greatest artists in history copied masters whom they liked and wanted to emulate and learn from. I think I'll regard AI as a type of master copy worthy of reproducing for practice and learning. But the fact that it is not a one of a kind or can be shared freely by Microsoft makes me think twice about trying to sell something created from this.

Is this the end of original art from humans? Or does the heart and soul of an artist still matter more than what a heartless/soul-less computer can create? My question sounds kind of loaded, doesn't it?
Technology is famous for disrupting entire industries. Social media has nearly killed the print versions of newspapers and magazines; Netflix killed Blockbuster video and movie theaters are at the lowest attendance in history; Amazon was the death of Sears and a lot of other retail stores.
Will centuries of artists be disrupted and replaced by this remarkably creative and beautiful technology that puts the brush in everyone's hands with just a few clicks and key words?
