Park Bench

111 Painting Kentucky. Return to Mt. Sterling Park. The bench.
The empty park bench overlooing the great view at this Kentucky park is relaxing. Until you try to paint it.
What a challenge to get those legs and seat slats in perspective. 
I spent more time on the bench than all the rest of the painting combined.
Kentucky Appalachia Outdoor Painters returned to the Henry Botts Nature Park for a second week in a row because we loved all the possible painting scenes. We also wanted to return to Mamut, a great restaurant in Mt. Sterling, where we enjoyed time, painting tips, and especially laughter together.
