I have more than 20 paintings in a gallery and two gift shops. My wife wanted me to keep several of them, but she didn't want to pay. When you're living on retirement, you have to check under the couch cushions for quarters.
Someone who buys one of my paintings pays the highest compliment with their money. A close second is when my wife deems it worthy of the wall in our home.
